Crawl Space Sump Pump Installation in Longview & Kelso
When water collects under your home and can't drain away on its own, a sump pump can move it out. We find where the water collects, then install a sump as part of a plan that fits your crawl space.
- Sump placed where water naturally collects
- Discharge line routed to move water away
- Paired with drainage when your crawl space needs it

How it helps
What a crawl space sump pump does
A sump pump sits in a basin at a low point in the crawl space. Water collects in the basin, and when it rises, the pump sends it out through a discharge line away from the house.
A sump pump works best as part of a complete water plan. Drain lines often feed the sump, and a barrier over the ground keeps the space cleaner once the water is under control. On its own, a pump only handles the water that reaches it.
- Find the low point where water collects
- Install the basin and pump
- Route the discharge line out of the crawl space
- Connect to drainage if the plan calls for it

Questions
Sump pump questions
Do I need a sump pump in my crawl space?
If water collects under your home and can't drain away by gravity, a sump pump is often part of the solution. If water can drain out on its own, you may not need one. We'll tell you after we look.
Where does the water go?
Through a discharge line that carries it out of the crawl space and away from the house. Where it can discharge depends on your property, and we'll plan that with you.
Will a sump pump solve all my water problems?
Not on its own. It removes water that reaches it. Drainage, a ground barrier and fixes outside the house may also be needed, depending on the cause.
Do sump pumps need maintenance?
Yes. Like any pump, it should be checked periodically to make sure it turns on and the discharge line is clear. We'll tell you what to check.
Do you serve my area?
Our service area includes Longview, Kelso, Castle Rock, Camas and Vancouver and surrounding Southwest Washington communities. Send your city or ZIP with the form and we'll confirm we can get to you.
How do I get an estimate?
